04 / 05 · Distribution
Stock where it needs to be.
We plan merchandise distribution across tour stops, pop-up stores and online orders, with quantities assigned to each channel.
Tell us which journey the merchandise needs to take. A combined project can include both.
Tour destinations
Plan quantities by stop, required arrival dates, receiving contacts and delivery windows. Include the itinerary even if some stops remain provisional.
Individual customers
Describe expected order volume, countries served, packaging needs and how order information will be supplied.
International routes
Identify origin and destination countries. Shipping costs, documentation, customs responsibilities and duties belong in the agreed scope.
What goes into the route.
These are the decisions we work through before goods are ready to move.
Inventory allocation & replenishment
A collection sold online, at venues and through a pop-up needs channel allocations. We work through what is reserved for each destination and how replenishment requests will be communicated. Product and size breakdowns matter: a count of cartons does not explain what a sales team can sell.
Pop-up distribution
A pop-up has an opening date, a selling period and a closing handoff. The plan should cover initial stock, packaging and supplies, any replenishment needed during the event, and the destination of remaining merchandise. Venue access and local receiving arrangements belong in that same brief.
Receiving & exceptions
Each destination needs a receiving contact, delivery window and clear handoff instructions. The plan should also identify who responds if a date changes, a venue cannot receive a shipment or a customer delivery needs attention. Changes can affect routing, availability and cost, so they need a defined point of contact.
Still developing the collection?
We can plan logistics before every product is final. Start with the dates, destinations and estimated quantities you already know.
What to bring to the first conversation
Share the itinerary, origin and destination countries, estimated quantities by product, available carton dimensions and weights, and the dates that matter. Include known venue restrictions, store order volumes and any existing shipping arrangements. Provisional information is useful when it is clearly marked as provisional.
